Ah yes, Jason is set to rise once more as an official announcement on production of the new Friday 13th film moves one step closer, after news last night that a new director has been found!

The Crazies director Breck Eisner is in talks to take over from David Bruckner, to direct the new sequel from a script by Prisoners Aaron Guzikowski, which is being described as an “originish” take on the mythology of the man in the Ski Mask.

We have already been told that Jason’s Mum and Dad will feature in the film, which sounds like its set before the original film (we could be well wrong) or set in an alternative timeline (again we could be well wrong), either way it sounds intriguing.

Last night there were plans for the film to be released as early as Friday January 13th 2017, but as that is only five months away, we guess that is high impossible!

More news on Jason as we get it!

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
