An American Werewolf

We quite don’t know if this is happening or not but Bloody Disgusting broke the news that Max Landis – yes the son of John- was developing a remake of his father’s much loved classic horror An American Werewolf In London.

The story broke thanks to Landis himself who said this on Twitter:

Since I get the question all the time: There’s only one of my dad’s movies I’d ever be willing to try to remake and I’m already doing it.

Since then Landis who probably did not realise just how much big news this is, if indeed he is trying to bring a new vision of his Dad’s work to a whole new generation has responded further by saying:

“I categorically deny any rumors about upcoming projects printed today”

So what is it?

Bloody Disgusting believe that Landis has been working on this project for a while with a sole intention of directing the movie, but as of yet there is no confirmation.

An American Werewolf In London remake may not be to everyone’s taste, especially with the much love the original has, but with a Landis behind the idea, this is a surreal and quite tantalising prospect.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
