viral

With a spectacular horror pedigree, Viral is the latest horror thriller to come from Blumhouse. With a deadly infection causing violence and mass panic, and a group of teens fighting for their lives, Viral is perfect Halloween viewing from the people who terrified you with Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Sinister.

Following the outbreak of a parasitic virus that wipes out the majority of the human population, Emma and her sister Stacey find themselves separated from their parents as it reaches their neighbourhood. Quarantined with no connections to her family, Emma, with the help of her love interest Evan, fights to protect her infected sister and for her own survival.

Directed by Henry Joost & Ariel Schulman (Catfish, Paranormal Activity 3 and 4, Nerve), VIRAL infects UK digital on 10th October 2016 before spreading to DVD shelves on 17th October 2016.

Bat

BatWhilst I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, nothing can beat a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. I don't do 3D movies so put the red and green spex away!
