Talk has been flying around of the possibility of the likes of Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba taking on the role of 007, but Sony and the filmmakers still want Daniel Craig to return, if only temporarily. In a situation reminiscent of both the Sean Connery and the Roger Moore years, Radar reports that the studio is ready to offer Craig $150 million [or £113 milion] to keep going with the franchise for two more films. Apparently, says a source:

“The studio is desperate to secure the actor’s services while they phase in a younger long-term successor. Daniel’s the key for a seamless, safe transition as far as Sony and Bond bosses are concerned, and they’re prepared to pay a king’s ransom to make it happen”,

This seems to indicate that neither Hiddleston and Elba are in the running anymore and that it is thought that the search for a post-Craig Bond could take ages. I’d like to see Craig do at least another one – I really liked the lighter touch he showed in Spectre which showed his diversity in the role – but only if he really wants to. We don’t want him to give a “can’t really be arsed” performance as Bond do we!

Dr LeneraI'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
