Ever since Negan swung that bat of his, Walking Dead fans have been angry and frustrated as the wait to find out who his poor victim was, goes on and on.

With the show returning for a season 7 in October and with it,  no doubt a record amount of viewing figures to justify the controversial cliff-hanger, a slip of the tongue from one of the Executive Producers has sent the internet into a frenzy.

Greg Nicotero was talking to Entertainment Weekly about that ending when these words came out of his mouth:

“But I’d say in retrospect, I don’t think we would have changed anything. I would have still supported doing it the way that we did it, because of the fact that the story doesn’t end there. If we would have shown the deaths, then they wouldn’t have felt our characters in season 7 the way they need to. And the thing that I think a lot of people will get out of it is how that moment changes the entire makeup of our universe within a split second. And it’s that moment that launches our entire season 7 into that direction.”

Can you see the world I highlighted in black?  He does not say death, but deaths, so does this imply that more than one person dies by the hands of the new man in charge of the fallen world?

Obviously it could be nothing and just a figure of speech, but one thing is for certain, anticipation for the premiere episode is gathering a feverish pace and lets be honest, if he meant death or deaths, this is The Walking Dead, no one is safe anymore, especially as Negan has finally arrived on screen.

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
