The rumours that one of the greatest Werewolf movies of all time is getting the remake treatment has finally been giving a definite answer and yes horror fans, An American Werewolf In London MK II is on its way.

In a surreal move, the original director’s son Max Landis has signed up to write and direct the new adaptation with a little help from The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman.

This news has not been greeted with much enthusiasm as the original is such a loved film, with fans questioning will they be able to get the dark tone tipped with black comedy right?

In the original film  David and Jack are two American college students, backpacking through Britain when a large wolf attacks them. David survives with a bite, but Jack is brutally killed. As David heals in the hospital, he’s plagued by violent nightmares of his mutilated friend, who warns David that he is becoming a werewolf. When David discovers the horrible truth, he contemplates committing suicide before the next full moon causes him to transform from man to murderous beast.

We at HCF watch this development with interest!

Ross HughesSince my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
