LATEST TV: ARROW delivers its biggest shocking twist! Even Amell was freaked out!

ARROW has become a show that I love once more!

Ever since its hero fell from a cliff top, the show has struggled with the second half of season three failing to live up to what was set before and Season Four becoming nothing but a tedious and boring mess.

Not many gave the latest season a chance, myself included, but the writers and everyone involved have pulled together and have managed to give us episodes that closely resemble the glory days of Seasons 1 and 2.

Now last night it perhaps delivered its most shocking twist ever that no one saw coming!  Now if you live in the UK, then obviously avoid as we are a few episodes behind, especially if you have managed to avoid the internet today which is in meltdown with fans discussing….how? and how again?  I mean….how?

So we get to what is possibly one of ARROW’S best finales.  So many plot developments,  the identity of Prometheus may have or not been revealed,  Felicity’s boyfriend died, Diggle back behind bars and everyone must have noticed that Vodka bottle on Oliver’s girlfriend’s alcohol stash.  Yes, she is connected to Russia!

But just as we got to grips with all that, we then come to the last few seconds and yes, open mouthed in shock!  Laurel Lance aka The Black Canary is alive and well!  How?  I mean how?

Even Stephen Amell admitted he was stunned at the plot development!

“Is Laurel really alive? I guess we’ll have to tune in.  People don’t just come back from the dead. Obviously there will be some sort of vetting process [to determine if it’s really her]. We delve into that when we come back in the New Year.”

This was the first script in a long time where I read what happened in Act V and it legitimately freaked me out. Ultimately where we go [in upcoming episodes] is a very cool development.”

We all have to wait until January to find out, but here is that scene again, just to savour and ask yourself one more time!
