BatI love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Silent Hill

  1. Not easy as he tends to play a similar character in all, enjoyable as he is. Therefore I think the first time I saw him which was in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

  2. I have enjoyed a number of his movies, but I think I enjoyed him most in Snatch – he had some brilliant lines which were delivered with the appropriate Cockney wit!

  3. The Transporter – great action and as for his co-star…

  4. he’s the best thing by a distance in spy. absolutely hilarious. furious 7 is a great OTT action movie. worth a watch.

but the winner…by miles: crank 2.

what an utterly bonkers film that is. ludicrously bananas, wilfully offensive, and flat out insane.

  5. Got to be Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels at least he was required to act in it.

  6. The Transporter – The original and best of the Luc Besson trilogy. Although Statham doesn’t do much talking in the movie his charismatic presence on screen coupled with the action pulls the film off as a surprise hit in my books and definitely stamps Jason’s passport into action hero stardom.

  7. Snatch really showcased his ability to be versatile. He stepped away from the Statham Stereotype in that and did it well.

  8. Hummingbird because he gave a very good performance

  9. Crank because it’s utterly ridiculous but so much fun.

  10. Lock. Stock. Breakout film where it all began.

  11. I’d have to say the first Transporter movie as it was full of action

  12. Snatch – action and humour.

  13. Snatch we love that film. Thank you for the chance ????????????

  14. Snotch-lots of action,humour great viewing.

  15. Lock,Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,1998 why? It’s an icon.

  16. For me its the film,in the name of the king.

  17. Transporter as it has that Luc Beson French wit and action

  18. The Transporter series was a great set of films for him

  19. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, my first real acquaintance with him, good film to the end and his acting was ok

  20. Crank! It’s fast paced & alot of action. It’s also funny!

  21. Snatch, brilliant film with action and a lot of humour

  22. The Transporter, love those fight scenes

  23. Transporter was my favourite 🙂 I loved his character in that

  24. Snatch for the action and humour

  25. The Italian job, it’s a great story

  26. The Transporter he was in is prime when he made it

  27. I can’t stand him to be honest, but my husband thinks he’s the man. He loves The Transporter

  28. Lock Stock, quite simply it’s a great film.

  29. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels – still one of the great British gangster movies that America could never make

  30. Transporter awesome film

  31. Snatch was one of the best films ever ,his career took off after that film a good story and interesting characters

  32. Enjoy all of his films but snatch is my favourite. So funny and endlessly entertaining!

  33. Wild Card. It was something that was a little different for him but still has the action and wit 🙂

  34. London… place in worlds…and my son lives there.

  35. Snatch and lock stock. I love those movies!

  36. My husband reckons Lock Stock, but I think the Transporter

  37. Has to be Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, such a smart, classy film.

  38. Transporter such a good film

  39. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels or Snatch because they are more than just Jason Statham vehicles.

  40. I love most jason statham films but the original Transporter is probably my favourite. Good story, good action, gorgeous woman 🙂

  41. The first Transported film, has a soft spot in my heart. So over the top as to be ridiculous!
But the best film he has done is “Parker” without a doubt.
It stayed true to the original novel, and was a well acted thriller.

  42. Snatch. It’s a classic movie. Statham at his best in my opinion.

  43. I loved him in the Expendables – just a fairly normal action movie – ok over the top maybe but it does what it says on the tin! Oh, and did I say he was handsome……

  44. The Transporter. Excellent fight scenes.

  45. Although I loved him in The Expendables, Spy, The Italian Job, Snatch, and Fast and Furious, it is The Transporter I have to go for. Those other films are ensemble pieces, Transporter is uniquely him. It is his Indiana Jones or James Bond. They may reboot the franchise but he will always be first and best.

  46. I loved him in the transporter. He’s an amazing actor in all of his movies.

  47. The Transporter. It’s the film that introduced me to Statham, and I have happy memories of watching it in Sydney in 2002.

  48. has to be lock stock for me, awesome cast and absolutely hilarious

  49. The Expendables is a great action film. Jason was brilliant and played his part so well along side a great cast.

  50. The transported, brilliant character and brilliant action.

  51. the Transporter, but love anything he is

  52. The Transporter, great action film

  53. crank – original and non stop action

  54. I like the Pink Panther movie as it was funny and had a good plot.

  55. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was the first film I saw him in. Since then, he’s pretty much played the same sort of action man.

  56. Has to be lock stock and 2 smoking barrels. Still love this film as it has a bit of everything

  57. Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels – it doesn’t require him to attempt an American accent:-)

  58. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, when he really made a name for himself, great film!

  59. The Transporter – classic Statham, funny and full of action

  60. Crank isn’t just the best Statham movie, its practically the best movie ever…full stop..end of.

  61. I’d say Transporter, top of the list

  62. I guess Lock Stock, his proper break through film, iconic and very cool.

  63. First Transporter movie for me!

  64. Wild Card because I saw JS filming it outside the Golden Nugget in Vegas

  65. The Transporter – great action

  66. Loved Snatch the best!

  67. lock stock and 2 smoking barrels a true classic

  68. Fast and Furious 7 just for the beginning hospital scene alone! when you see that it shows what a bad ass Statham is.

  69. The Transporter 2 which I think is better than the first movie. Fight scenes are great.

  70. Lock Stock for the sheer briliance

  71. Snatch, simply because it’s a modern masterpiece – great characters, a beautifully crafted plot and so many classic quotes

  72. Death Race – Loved the original but I saw this the morning after a long term relationship ended and it is so stupidly brilliant I couldn’t help but smile all the way through. I realised that, whilst their are Jason Statham films in the world there will always be escapism and happy places to go to. Also Ian McShane too.

  73. I’ll have to say Snatch because it was funny as well as being action-packed 🙂

  74. Snatch as it was so underrated

  75. The Expendables. Best action films for me.

  76. The Transporter series of movies, i love them they are all action gripping to watch, just brilliant.

  77. Lock stock and two smoking barrels great witty british film

  78. Snatch – like it a bit better than Lock Stock, but it’s a close one!

  79. Transporter , the first one

  80. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, it’s an absolute classic with great performances!

  81. The Transporter…… such great action

  82. He’s rough and ready and can play the tough guy pretty well

  83. I almost cried in fits of laughter everytime he was on the screen in Spy! He shown that he is capable of being more than just being the hard guy (well okay, yes he was the hard stupid guy in that film but still….) and hopefully he can follow in the footsteps of Mark Wahlberg and show that he can do a little more than just standard action films!

  84. The Transporter edge of the seat film

  85. Fast and furious because he goes so ham but to be honest he goes ham in everything 😀

  86. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels before he was so huge – great performance

  87. The Transporter 1 & 2, love his character and the story is so fast paced

  88. Hummingbird because he gave a very good performance

  89. Lock,Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was really funny

  90. has to be snatch – one of my favourite films

  91. Snatch is the only one I’ve seen and enjoyed and he was really great in that.

  96. Love the Mechanic-watched at my cousin’s house last night

  97. I ike the transporter, lots of action and keep you on your tes

  98. The Mechanic is actually one of my favourites. There’s action, a little bit of humour and a good plot. Although anything with Statham in I usually find a good watch!

  99. Snatch – Not really due to JS though, just a great great film.

  100. Mean machine – love the psycho Monk!

  101. One of the first I saw.. The Bank Job. Great plot and characters

  102. crank – brilliant and mad

  103. I love all Jason Statham’s films but his appearance in Fast and Furious 7 has to be my favourite

  104. The Spy with Melissa McCarthy, Think his character walks away with the movie

  105. As his movies tend to be a bit samey, even though you know what you’re getting, I think that “Ghosts of Mars” was maybe slightly different.

  106. My favourite Jason Statham film is The Bank Job, It’s not the silly violent car chase explosion action film that is normally expected, and also shows that he has real acting talent.

  107. Has to be the true modern day classic that is Snatch. Even though Brad Pitt was in it. Statham still truly captivated the film.

  108. War it is so full of rapid aqction, double-crosses and betrayals

  109. The first Transporter film – Lots of action and one liners. Loved the French policeman 🙂

  110. I loved Gnomeo & Juliet brilliant movie & he plays the voice of the baddie Tybalt so well.

  111. Transporter – Luc Beson

  112. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels , hilarious

  113. I like transporter

  114. Snatch, action packed, fast paced, well scripted

  115. It has to be Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrell’s

  116. Transporter – Think it’s the best film that he’s ”acted” in.

  117. Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels – because its the first time I saw him and loved his movies ever since

  118. the transporter, brilliant film

  119. It’s “Crank” for me – utterly OTT and hilariously bad!

  120. The first film I saw – Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels – hooked ever since

  121. For me Snatch – he steps away from bourne in this role

  122. Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels – excellent film!

  123. Crank for me he goes nuts in that

  124. It has to be Snatch, his constant one liners and quips are brilliant. Its a very funny film.

  125. Snatch- i love it !

  126. The Italian job as handsome rob because he’s such a sweet talking ladies man

  127. Spy : because he does not take himself to seriously and his comic timing is brilliant

  128. I absolutely love him in Spy – not his usual type of role and he’s really funny!

  129. I love The Transporter, one of the best driving films.

  130. OMG I love Jason Statham,. I love all his films, especially Death Race. He’s a great action actor, although he was brilliant playing a comedy role in Spy.

  131. Snatch a great film

  132. The Expendables….my favourite scene is where he goes looking for his ‘ex-girlfriends’ boyfriend….
    ‘We’ve got your back’
    No…I don’t think you have ????????????

  133. Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

  134. It has to be Snatch, loved it.

  135. War, a plot, twisting and turning story lines combined with excellent action with the fantastic Jet Li. A very good movie indeed.

  136. Spy as he took the mick out of himself!

  137. The transporter

  138. Expendables as I got to see Arnie, SLy and bruce willis in the same movie, The child in me was very very happy!

  139. As much as I loved him in War & the Transporter trilogy, his role as Turkish in Snatch is my favourite. Plenty of humour, it was a brilliant film!

  140. My Favourite JS film has got to be CRANK

  141. Got to be Crank or The Expendables, just both highly comic parts in both

  142. Crank – also had Chester Benningtn in 🙂 <3

  143. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels because it’s entertaining

  144. for me its snatch, haven’t seen a lot of his other films but reading some of the other comments i might just correct that

  145. I liked Jason Statham in Spy as it showed a different more funny side to him, instead ofplaying the same role all the time.

  146. The Transporter. Classic action movie worth watching over and over. Non-stop throughout. Thoroughly recommended.

  147. Lock Stock. Great cast, very funny too.

  148. Wild Card – because it was a different film and not unduly formulaic

  149. Snatch, great action comedy.

  150. Crank – Hilariously insane and a great parody of his previous body of work!

  151. His films are great , all action , my fave is Crank but love the Transporter series and he’s a baldy like me

  152. Although he wasn’t the lead – I thought he was brilliant in Spy.

  153. The Mechanic is pretty enjoyable as a bit of fluff but he’s the same in every film!

  154. Crank it was the first film I saw him in I loved the story line

  155. Snatch. Such a fabulous fast paced action film

  156. I like him in Crank, completely OTT

  157. crank 2. , just so ludicrious and funny , statham has fun with the character, i think also he realises that he can do these fun films and it wont impact on the rest of his movies unlike some other actors.

  158. Spy – used all of his talents to their best effect – he was just fantastic in that

  159. The first Transporter movie

  160. lee Christmas in the Expendables series. His character is much more complex than first meets the eye. Well acted.

  161. Transporter – really think this film was the making of him

  162. I loved him in transporter full of action and played such an interesting character

  163. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was my favourite Jason Statham film. Showed there was more to him than his regular roles.

  164. i loved the action packed transporter

  165. Has to be lock stock, let’s be honest that is what started him on his road to fame
