Great news guys, not only did we have the first teaser poster for the Sin City sequel but now we have the release date.

At this moment, Dimension Films confirmed that Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will be released on  October 4, 2013.

The long awaited sequel to the 2005’s original will be once again directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, and the film’s script is co-written by the duo with William Monahan.

So far its been confirmed that only Mickey Rourke and Jessica Alba are returning to reprise their roles, but expect that to change in the next few weeks.

Nice little treat for Matt for when he returns home from his holiday because he loves the found footage horror genre and as you can see, the first image of Ends Of The Earth has been released.

Some spooky shit there with those eyes……

What is it about?  Something about backpackers (as always) having a whale of a time with their camera until theu come across something that offers danger and terror.  Hints are that there could be a Vampire involved.

Writer and director Gerard Lough has been giving us a right ol’ treat this month, what with stills from his upcoming cyberpunk film NINETY SECONDS and now the official poster. All that’s left is a teaser trailer which will be coming soon but first cast your eyes above for a glimpse of what is in store from this thriller.

Ninety Seconds is a thriller set in the near future about a cynical surveillance expert who takes on an unusual assignment that will lead him into a downward spiral of paranoia and obsession.

The film stars Andrew Norry, Michael Parle, Claire J Blennerhaussett, Emma Eliza Regan and Simon Fogarty and is produced by Gerard Lough, Michael Parle and Martin Neely.

Ah yes Sherlock fans, despite the fury that the American’s are making their own version of a modern Sherlock Holmes (WHY….WHY…..WHY…..Have they not seen Sherlock???????????)……..its gone ahead anyway and having pissed off fans with the idea, the creators pissed them off even more by changing the sex of Dr Watson from Male to Female……

ELEMENTARY stars Jonny Lee Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD’s most impossible cases. Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric Sherlock escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare – a sober companion, Dr. Watson.

A successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago, Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance. However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he’s devised his own post-rehab regimen – resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City.

Watson has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. But Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator. Sherlock’s police contact, Capt. Tobias “Toby” Gregson (Aidan Quinn), knows from previous experience working with Scotland Yard that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team.

With the mischievous Sherlock Holmes now running free in New York solving crimes, it’s simple deduction that he’s going to need someone to keep him grounded, and it’s elementary that it’s a job for Watson. Rob Doherty, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly and Michael Cuesta, who directed the pilot, are executive producers for CBS Television Studios.

Today Wayne Clingman, executive producer of Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis,announced the following:

an associate producer. Carlo brings with him a background in not only all elements of film production, but also in the art of publicity. This will
allow Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis to be known around the world. I am very happy to report as well that Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis will be distributed
on a nonexclusive basis with Mr. Rodriguez’s distribution company, UnderDogs.com. After knowing Carlo from my Indy Film Wisconsin podcast, I
wanted to work with him in an effort to bring our skill sets together so we can make Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis the best it can be.”

Wayne has also announced that Mars, composer and owner of Dead House Music, will be creating the score for Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis.

“To have Mars as part of the Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis is a dream come true! From the days of the It Came From Lake Michigan film festival, I
have wanted to do a film project with this amazing composer. Mars understands how music adds to the enjoyment of a film and will utilize
this knowledge to insure that Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis is the very best it can be. To some film makers, the score is an afterthought, but not
with this film. By bringing Mars on board to compose the music, we are insuring that the soundtrack will be rocking!”

Melantha Blackthorne takes the lead in GO GO GIRLS VS THE NAZIS, which is due to start filming later this year.

Taken: One of the best action films for the past few years is as you aware, getting a much wanted sequel and above is the first image from the film.

Liam Neeson looks once again in a vengeful mood and can you blame him because the sequel will see his wife taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper he killed while rescuing his daughter in the classic original.

Taken 2 will be directed by Olivier Megaton and once again Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen co-star.

Neeson recently talked about returning to the franchise and had this to sa about his character.

“He’s a bit mellower, I think. Having gone through the horror of the first film, and because of the success of retrieving his daughter, his notoriety has travelled and these major politicians and sheiks want him to be in their camp. He organises the security situation. He’s still retired from his special-forces group, but he takes private commissions”

Have to be honest and say that the poster above is one class affair.

Yes folks its the first poster release of the new James Bond film and I honetly believe it just oozes style, mixing old with new and having been burnt with the poor Quantum Of Solace, I am now looking forward to Skyfall which again stars Daniel Craig.

Skyfall will see Craig’s Bond’s loyalty to M tested as a figure from her past returns. Skyfall stars the likes of Naomie Harris, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem, and the first teaser trailer is expected to be seen on May 21st.

The film will be released in the UK cinemas on October 26 and later in the US on November 9.

Paramount Pictures’ The Dictator was unleashed on the UK and Ireland yesterday where it has seized the number one spot at the box office. The film toppled The Avengers from the top spot and is set to continue its success throughout opening weekend.

The Dictator tells the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.

Sacha Baron Cohen stars as Admiral General Shabazz Aladeen with support from Sir Ben Kingsley, Megan Fox, Anna Faris and John C. Reilly. Larry Charles returns as director after helming both Borat and Bruno films.

If you remember way back last year, I posted some news of a possible new HULK TV show and that Guillermo del Toro of all people was interested in being part of the development with Battlestar Galactica producer David Eick by his side.

The stunning success of The Avengers and that of Mark Ruffalo in the role of David Banner has led to rumours that the show may now be scrapped and that the future of the green monster is that on the big screen.

Well the rumours are wrong.!

We understand that its thanks to the success of the Joss Wheldon flm, there are plans afoot to push the TV Show into pilot stage with ABC keen to get things going very quickly.

As of yet, all we are being told is that the show will be an “origin!” story and totally different to the 70′s and early 80′s classic show that HULK fans love with all their heart.
