Arrow Video Wishlist

Post by Bat » Mon Apr 06, 2015 2:33 pm

Got my eye on a few Arrow Video titles but have to save my pennies for other things at the moment.

I'd really like Tinto Brass' Cheeky and Frivalous Lola, the Wachowski's Bound and Lady Snowblood 1&2.

Looking forward to the re-release of Deep Red that will include the soundtrack. Also hello! Testing the waters on how active you folks are over here as it looks a bit quiet.

Nice to e-meet you Mocata. We're a bit quiet on here cos there's not enough fresh meat but hopefully that will change.
A re-release of Deep Red with the soundtrack, you say? Now that sure does sound good. :)
I'm personally looking forward to the Hellraiser release. They're screening it on the big screen at Grimmfest this year so colour me excited.

I look forward to that then. I know Rustblade records are releasing a ton of different versions for the soundtrack on its own, i.e. CD, vinyl, deluxe edition etc.
News article about it

As for the links, yeah, I need to fix it. For some reason they stopped working last time I updated the forum to latest version. I'll look into it and hopefully get it fixed.

Re-save your signature in your profile, Mocata. Should be fixed now but they don't auto fix. You have to re-save it to refresh it in the database.

The Doc said Beyond the Valley of the Dolls is worth checking out so I'm adding that to my wishlist. I've never seen any Russ Meyer films so I wanna fix that.

Watching some ridiculous Italian horror movies with Contamination and The Beyond just recently, not great but fun. Will probably have to pick up a copy for myself at some stage. Nightmare City and House by the Cemetery were disappointing though to be honest.

Looking at the upcoming releases nothing too much catches my eye, though Audition and Koyaanisqatsi are on the cards.

I quite enjoyed Nightmare City but I suppose when compared to others, yes, it's not that great.
I still need to get my hands on Bound.
Been looking at The Lickerish Quartet and Camille 2000. I like Tinto Brass films but dunno how these would compare. Can anyone offer any insight?

I think Arrow will be releasing a Vol. 1 horror collection too at some point.
