Hoping it will be The Nice Guys, but will soon find out! Ones I've actually seen, I think unexpectedly 10 Cloverfield Lane.

Well I think the only film that's come out this year so far that I'd give a 9 out of 10 to is Room. Overall there's been alot of good films but few REALLY good ones in my view. Without checking my yearly list that I add to throughout the year, from memory I also have The Hateful Eight [really a film from last year but it didn't come out in the UK till this year son I'm classing it as 2016!], Aloys, Hell or High Water, Creed, The Revenant [though I found it a tad overrated] and Eye in the Sky [wish I'd had time to review that] pretty high. Best two horrors would be The Conjuring 2 and Don't Breathe.

Quite a few titles I need to catch up on home viewing thjough hat only got limited cinema releases before I have a clearer picture.

Well there's not too many things left that I am looking forward to seeing on home release, how was everyone else's year? Anything I forgot? I don't think there was too much controversy in Doc's worst list to be fair

I would say my top 5 would be as follows, and all bar one watched in the last couple of weeks.

The VVitch
Sing Street
Hunt for the Wilderpeople
The Revenant
Civil War

I somehow forgot about Rogue One! Maybe swap Civil War out for that. Maybe.

In fairness, as I've mentioned elsewhere, it's been a pretty average year for films. The only ones I've felt in awe of, I've watched recently while playing catch up. Prior to that, I struggle to recall the last film that's stayed with me for days after, like the above.

Watched War Dogs before Christmas. Totally not what I was expecting and was very good! I'll add that to my list of best films for 2016

Sing Street is a good one. Still need to see The Greasy Strangler and Baskin while I think about it ...

Aw fuck, completely forgot about The Greasy Strangler. I've been looking forward to that for ages. Hoping for a vod appearance soon.
