As Neill Blomkamp’s second feature film begins to take shape, a newcomer has been added to the growing cast list. The rather fine looking Alice Braga will join the District 9 director’s latest alien movie, Elysium. Braga has recently been seen in The Rite, and also lit up the screen in film like Predators, Repo Men, I Am Legend and City of God.
She joins a cast of big name actors including Jodie Foster, Matt Damon, William Fichtner and District 9’s Sharlto Copley. Set for release in the US March 1st 2012, the film tells of aliens and humans battling each other for the right to colonize another planet. If Blomkamp’s previous film is anything to go by, this will be something very special indeed!
