Carrie remake update: Megan Fox wants the lead role of Carrie

Desperate to shake off her Transformer routes, Megan Fox has expressed an interest in the Carrie remake. Originally approached to take the role of Wonder Woman, Fox has turned that role down in a bid to get the lead role in MGM’s Carrie remake. Written by Roberto Aguire-Sacasa, the claim is the remake will stick much closer to Stephen King’s novel than Brian De Palma’s version did. Whatever their excuse, I’m not buying it, for the moment. However, if Fox was given the lead role, I just might have a little more interest in the film, for obvious reasons!

An insider said this about Fox’s plans: “Megan is a huge fan of the original and would love the chance to play the lead. She’s 25 now but she’s sure she could still do justice to teenage Carrie. She’s told her people to make it happen.”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
