Chilling, intense and cold trailer for Code Blue

This Norwegian film looks incredibly tense and the trailer is actually rather frightening. Loneliness seems to be the name of the game here, loneliness and the desire to be loved, whatever the cost. I’m sure you’ll agree the strange looking man in the trailer knocking on the womans door and asking “let me in little piggy” is incredibly unsettling. The film is directed by Urszula Antoniak and here is the official word:

Marian, a middle aged nurse, devotes herself to her patients like a saint. Sometimes she even takes on the role of a redeemer, by helping the gravely ill to the soothing order of ultimate silence. When she gets linked to a neighbor in an act of common voyeurism, she becomes fascinated by him. Faced with the fragility of these newfound emotions, Marian surrenders to her human needs…

The film is making its debut at Cannes next week.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
