Dominion: Dinosaurs VS Aliens to be made into graphic novel followed by awesome film!

Before you start panicking at the prospect at this being one of the incredibly low budget made-for-TV creature features, please, read on. Barry Sonnenfeld (director of Men in Black 1, 2 and the soon to be finished 3, Wild Wild West and Get Shorty) has signed on to bring a childhood fantasy to life. Dominion: Dinosaurs VS Aliens is set to be made into a graphic novel, followed by a feature film directed by Sonnenfeld himself.

Sonnenfeld will be teaming up with writing legend Grant Morrison and Liquid Comics to develop the graphic novel, in the hope to have it released by the end of the year. The story will have a slight twist on the usual alien invasion hokum as this time round, the aliens invade in the age of the Dinosaurs, and it appears that these dinosaurs are a little more intelligent than we have come to expect. Morrison’s work includes Batman and the Invisibles and he will be in charge of both the graphic novel and the script for the film.

Sonnenfeld told Deadline:”Growing up, my fascination was all things dinosaur, and as an adult, I’ve had some success making films about aliens, so this is a dream come true,”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
