Filmed entirely on location in Wisconsin, director Tyler Christensen’s House of Purgatory looks cheap but tasty. It is an independent horror released by Watching Eye Productions and is set around Halloween.
It follows four friends as they search for the House of Purgatory, a house that grants the admission fee back to those who can brave its creepy floors. Each level you complete, you get more money back but the four friends soon realise things are not that simple and this terrifying urban myth may be too much for them to handle. It also seems that the house knows things about them, and forces them to face things they don’t want to.
It all sounds rather good to be honest, so we’ll keep watch on this one.
