Night Claws: Oh dear, we just may have found this years worst horror. See the trailer here, if you’re brave enough!

Oh man this looks dreadful, really really dreadful but could it be one of those ‘so bad its good’ type horror? I shall leave that decision up to you if you have been brave enough to view the trailer. If you haven’t viewed the trailer just yet, then please I suggest removing your brain for the duration! The film is directed by David A Prior, and will feature zilch CGI with all the ‘effects’ being handled by Bill ‘Splat’ Johnson (The Walking Dead, Halloween 2, Zombieland). Where they found the ‘actors’ is another matter! Here is the oddly lengthy synopsis:

A small town is being terrorized by a killer Bigfoot. One that is bloodthirsty, vicious and kills without warning and without discrimination. A scientist by the name of Sarah Evans shows up to help the town’s sheriff and his deputy girlfriend Roberta hunt this thing down and put an end to the killings. At the same time, Hunter Crawford is a thug-like character who, along with his two henchmen, is hunting the creature himself for his own personal gain, and he does not care who he has to go through to accomplish this. Enter Charlie Parker, a tough East Coast type who is on a survivalist camping trip, led by the seasoned survivalist Sharon Farmer at the behest of his young trophy wife and who, by no fault of his own, winds up being used as bait for the creature by Hunter. But there is more at work here than meets the eye. A sinister plot is afoot, and at its center is the vengeful Mister Testi. And in the end this plot takes a twist that no one will expect.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
