The Hobbit: Titles, release dates and questions page revealed

God bless Peter Jackson, not content with starting shooting on his two part epic version of The Hobbit, he has just announced not only the official titles for the two movies, but also the planned release dates! The first movie is will be called The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and set for release December 14th 2012, and the second movie will be called The Hobbit: There and Back Again, with a December 13th 2013 release date.

Thats not all, Jackson has recently set up a Facebook page to answer any questions fans may have for him head on over and take a look

While we’re on the subject of The Hobbit, it was recently confirmed that Orlando Bloom will be returning as Legolas. With so much news coming out about cast members it is hard to keep track of what we’ve already told you, so I apologise if this has been mentioned before, but Hugo Weaving is also returning as Elrond and Kate Blanchett is back as Galadriel.

As ever, we will bring you more on this epic story as it develops.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
