After all the rumours, it has now been confirmed that one of the finest actors of his generation, Leonardo DiCaprio, will star in Tarantino’s Django Unchained. It is not yet known which part DiCaprio will play in Tarantino’s reimagining of the 1966 Western Django, but it is a safe bet he will play Calvin Candie, the villain!

Also confirmed are Christoph Waltz and Samuel L Jackson, with Tarantino hoping to cast Will Smith as the lead role. Although, Tarantino is in talks with other actor’s for the lead in case Smith pulls out. One name being talked about is Chris Tucker (oh dear!). Other stars rumoured to be in the film include Michael Fassenbender, Idris Elba, Keith Carradine and original Django star Franco Nero.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
