New TV spot explains ape madness in Rise of the Planet of the Apes

The more I see of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the more I can’t wait to see the damn thing! We learn more with each trailer and TV spot, and here we actually get to see John Lithgow in action, and it would seem that the ape in question has a rather close relationship with Lithgow’s as yet un-named character. Clearly locked up for his actions, the ape is experimented on and becomes twisted with hate. This film looks stunning, and I keep saying that, but I really do mean it. Rise of the Planet of the Apes is gonna blow everyone away (hopefully).

Directed by Rupert Wyatt, the film stars James Franco, Tom Felton, Brian Cox, Andy Serkis, John Lithgow and Freida Pinto. The film will hunt down UK cinemas on August 12th. Here is the synopsis:

A single act of both compassion and arrogance leads to a war unlike any other — and to the RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. The Oscar-winning visual effects team that brought to life the worlds of Avatar and Lord of the Rings is breaking new ground, creating a CGI ape that delivers a dramatic performance of unprecedented emotion and intelligence and epic battles on which rest the upended destinies of man and primate

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
