Paranormal Activity director promises new film “will be scary as Hell”

Paranormal Activity creator Oren Peli is about to start work on his next movie which he has guaranteed “will be scary as Hell”. He is keeping tight lipped on the details so far, but we have learnt a small amount of what to expect.

The film is being billed as a ‘nature horror’ and is based on Peli’s own story. It centres around a group of friends who become stranded in an desolate and very creepy city. Many years before a nuclear disaster occurred and since then nature has begun to reclaim everything. However, as night falls and the friends try to find a way out, cries can be heard of an inhuman nature and the friends suddenly realise they are not alone in this radioactive ghost town.

Now, seriously, if that doesn’t get you even the slightest bit interested, then I don’t know what will. Oren Peli has proved himself as a master of suspense and original ideas and this sounds like a corker of an idea for a horror film. Granted the idea has been done before, but the added factor of the possibility of radioactive ghosts, or zombies, or whatever Peli has in mind is just too good to miss. Peli recently said this “We are extremely excited about our new horror project. And while we can’t disclose too many details about it, rest assured it will be scary as hell.”

Expect much more on this as it happens.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
