Danielle Harris and Bill Moseley to star in Theatre of the Devil

Two horror icons in one film eh? One a bit of a legend, the other this generations ultimate Scream Queen so the news of them starring in the same film should please many horror fans. Mikrotone Entertainment recently announced the news and have also named the director, Jourdan McClure. The film is still getting funding so this could be a while off yet, but it is still good news.

Danielle Harris (Hatchet, Stake Land, Rob Zombie’s Halloween) will star as Diana/Aura, a killer on the run from the law who seeks refuge in a theatre run by the reclusive magician Xanthus, played by Bill Moseley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, House of 1000 Corpses, Devil’s Rejects). Xanthus has his own plans for the fugitive, here is the official synopsis written by Mikrotone Entertainment:

On the run from the police after killing her husband, Diana Michaels winds up at the theater of the reclusive magician, Xanthus. But Xanthus is not as mild mannered as she thought. He uses Diana in a sinister ritual designed to bring the soul of his lost love, Aura, back from the dead. It seems to work, as her entire demeanor changes, but she can’t remember anything about their life together before her death. In the meantime, a relentless detective is tracking Diana, and he will stop at nothing to bring her in. But will he find Diana? Or just an innocent lost soul inhabiting her body?

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
