Dare you look into Lucifer’s eyes? Check out an image and concept art from Paradise Lost

See those creepy eyes above? Those are the eyes of the Devil himself in Alex Proyas’ take on the poem Paradise Lost written by John Milton. Spooky stuff indeed and we also have some concept art images below for you to have a peak at too! These images were revealed this weekend at Comic Con.

Proyas is the fella who directed the legendary The Crow and the superb Dark City, and with the content of the story being very dark indeed I am expecting great things from this. The film will star Bradley Cooper as Lucifer and the story tells of the battle in Heaven between two waring Angels Michael and Lucifer. The film will use motion-capture technology, will have a lot of action and there is also the chance it may be filmed in 3D. Here is a full synopsis:

Lucifer and Michael, God’s greatest archangels, share the bond of extraordinary friendship until God produces his greatest creation: Man. Unable to remain subservient to God if it means bowing down to humanity, Lucifer begins his dark descent and is cast out – only to plot his revenge.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.

  1. I love Proyas [even the much criticised Knowing and I Robot] so I can’t wait for this movie, looks fantastic!
