Edward Norton to face Jeremy Renner in The Bourne Legacy

You know, I’ve missed Edward Norton. I don’t feel I’ve seen him in anything truly great for years, gone are the days of Fight Club, Primal Fear and American History X, The Illusionist was five years ago, so it is about time he got back into the big films and showed the world what a top class actor he really is. And now he will get his chance as he has landed a role, a big role, in Tony Gilroy’s Bourne Legacy. It is not a done deal yet, but it might as well be, and I can’t wait to see Norton back on the big screen, and as an added bonus the part he has been offered is that of the villain. Seeing his past films, Norton can pull off villains exceptionally well, just see his character in Fight Club as he becomes more intense and frightening as the film goes on.

Jeremy Renner has already been cast as a ‘Bourne’, although not Jason Bourne as this character will not be returning. Renner will play another trained killer who decides to find out his true self. Rachel Weisz is also starring in the film which is due out on August 17th next year. This could well shape up to be something good after all!

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
