First teaser poster arrives for The Dark Knight Rises, and some possible plot details?

Set to be one of the, how shall I put this, ‘bigger’ films of 2012, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises has been building up interest since the project was announced. We’ve had an image of the fearsome Bane (Tom Hardy), two creepy virals and also some news that a certain character from Batman Begins has returned, there’s been rumours of plot details and cast members characters but still nothing is 100% accurate. Nolan is doing a very good job at keeping his secret plot hidden. However, I read some news on about a particular scene in the film which doesn’t exactly give away any plot details as such, but its certainly yet another piece of information which gets me incredibly excited! If you do not want to know anything bout possible plot spoilers, then do not read the next paragraph. However, if you are interested, read on for what Carnegie Melon posted about the film at their Software Engineering Institute:

“Scenes outside the SEI, which will be portrayed as a prison, will include an explosion, a prison break, precision stunt driving, gunfire, atmospheric smoke, and controlled pyrotechnic explosions.

Scenes outside the Fifth Ave. entrance of Mellon Institute include a standoff between two rivals that escalates into a riot. One character drives a motorcycle through the fourth floor lobby, out the front doors and down the steps onto Fifth Ave. Special effects include precision stunt driving, gunfire and atmospheric smoke.”

This ties in nicely with one of the recent virals which showed prisoners being marched through the city while chanting, and Gotham looked to be in complete chaos. Bane is certainly causing poor old Batman some headaches from the looks of things.  The big question is though, who is the stand off between? Is it Batman and Bane, or Bane and another bad guy? Anyway, speculation aside, we do have some concrete new stuff for you, the first teaser poster, and you can see it below. I am sure you’ll agree that it is rather creepy, incredibly dark and quite stunning! For more on what we know on The Dark Knight Rises, click the following link:

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
