Stevan Mena directed the rather brilliant Malevolence back in 2004 and now he returns to horror with the savage looking Bereavement. The film will be a prequel to Malevolence and judging by the above clip, will not be a pleasant ride. Anchor Bay are set to release the film on DVD and Bluray in the US on August 30th, and hopefully here in the UK we will see it arrive not long after.

A number of images have recently been released and you can view them at the bottom of the page. The director of the film, Stevan Mena is a skilled director, and we at HCF had the absolute pleasure of interviewing him recently and you can view the interview here:

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
