Oh yes, Conan the Barbarian will be violent! Check out this new ‘red-band’ clip, viewer discretion is advised

Meet Conan as a young lad, doing what every young lad would do in those ancient times, playing in the woods, trying to get back to camp without breaking the egg you are carrying in order to be given the right to fight for your village. Conan, on the other hand, has different ideas when he comes face to face with  common enemy, the results are violent, savage and fascinating. You can view the clip below, but I must warn you if you are easily offended or feel a bit under the weather after witnessing brutal violence, then don’t watch. If, however, you want to see proof that Conan will live up to your expectations then please watch and enjoy!

Director Marcus Nispel has promised the highest certificate possible for his warrior flick, a remake of the Arnie film from the 80’s and on the evidence of this there is no doubt the BBFC will slap on an 18 certificate. You can also enjoy all the violence of Conan (played by Jason Momoa) on his quest for revenge in 3D. The film also stars Ron Perlman, Rose McGowan, Rachel Nichols and Stephen Lang and it will be awesome when it finally gets released here in the UK on August 26th.

Synopsis: A quest that begins as a personal vendetta for the fierce Cimmerian warrior soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
