It’s not a bad thought, if I’m honest! Sean Bean as King, my God that would be scary but there’s no doubt the scowling one would make a great leader! Sadly, he will not be King in the real world, only in the movies. Tarsem Singh, the director of The Cell, The Fall and the upcoming Immortals, is darkening up the story of Snow White and intends to get his version out before the much talked about Snow White and the Huntsman. Tarsem’s version, currently known as The Brothers Grimm: Snow White will be released March 16th in the US and sometime very soon after in the UK.
Singh’s take on the tale will actually turn the tides on the story and have Snow White and the Seven Dwarf’s look at taking back their Kingdom from the evil Queen, who will be played by Julia Roberts. Lily Collins will taking on the role of Snow White and here is where things get really exciting, Sean Bean has been cast as Snow White’s Dad, the King! Hurrah!! Its about time, and I really hope he plays the part as expected, which should be brilliant! The film will also star Armie Hammer as The Prince. More on this as it happens.
