Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D: Casting news as female to play ‘Heather’ close to signing

As news continues to build around John Lussenhop’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequel, a piece of very important casting news is on the verge of becoming true. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thiefs Alexandra Daddario is in talks to sign on to play Heather, the ill fated girl who escaped Leatherface’s clutches in Tobe Hoopers original (and best) and now returns to Texas in this sequel, only to have to face the sadistic killer again.

This news follows the casting of Bill Moseley as Drayton. Moseley was made famous by his role in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre part 2 which starred Denis Hopper and was directed again by Hooper. The film was released in 1986, and Moseley played a horrible character by the name of Chop-Top.

The news that Heather could well now be cast is a great step forward in the film starting filming. The horror is scheduled for an October release next year. For more on the plot details, click on the following link:

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
