Veteran British actor Ralph Fiennes makes his debut behind the director’s chair with a film based on a play by William Shakespeare. However, Fiennes has made the film his own and it looks very impressive indeed, gritty and hard hitting and it simply looks spectacular! Fiennes has also cast himself as the lead character Caius Martius Coriolanus, and he has surrounded himself with a wealth of highly impressive British actors including Gerard Butler, Brian Cox, James Nesbitt, Vanessa Redgrave and Jessica Chastain. You can view the trailer after the synopsis which may contain a few spoilers. The film is set to be released in UK cinemas on 20th January 2012.
