In one of the most delightful news of the month, it seems The Big Friendly Giant also known as the BFG is making a comeback and that will thrill fans of Rolad Dahl!
ET writer Melissa Mathison, veteran super producer Frank Marshall and Dreamworks  are planning on making a live-action version of the much loved tale which was originally made into a cartoon way back in 1989.
TV animation studio Cosgrove Hall made a film version of The BFG, which voiced the talents of  David Jason as the big man and Amanda Root as Sophie, the miniature-by-comparison herione.
The film has become a massive cult over the years, being discovered by a whole new generation so this news of a live action tale is enough to make you smile for the rest of the night.
This is breaking news so nothing yet to report so I can not confirm if the figure will be CGI but it probably will.
More on this good news when it breaks.

Since my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
