John Malkovich in final talks to star in zombie flick ‘Warm Bodies’

The glorious John Malkovich is on final negotiations to star in a new zombie film called ‘Warm Bodies’. Jonathan Levine (All the Boys Love Mandy Lane) will be directing the film which is about to begin shooting, and he also wrote the adaptation from the book written by Isaac Marion.

The film is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the undead out number the living, the brief synopsis is as follows:

the story follows an existentially tormented zombie named “R” who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims. It starts a chain reaction that will transform him, his fellow zombies, and maybe the whole undead world.

Malkovich will play General Grigio, who is obsessed with the destruction of the zombie race, a perfect role for Malkovich if he takes it. Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) and Rob Corddry are already on board to star.

More on this as it happens.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
