The Asylum’s ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ trailer has landed, and it is rather good!

The boys at the Asylum continue to release almost a film a month, however their latest feature looks like it could be there best yet. The budget has certainly improved, and the film itself looks very impressive indeed.

‘Zombie Apocalypse’ is directed by Nick Lyon and written by Craig Eagle and Brooks Peck. One of the major selling points to the film is the casting of Ving Rhames, who will no doubt kill off hundreds of the undead in his own, unique fashion. Joining him for the carnage are Lesley Ann-Brandt (Spartacus: Blood and Sand), Taryn Manning (Hustle and Flow), Eddie Steeples (My Name is Earl) and Johnny Pacar (Make it or Break it). The film hits DVD in the US from 27th December, although no release date details have yet to be announced for the UK.

Synopsis:

Months after a zombie plague has wiped out 90 percent of the American population, a small group of survivors fight their way cross-country to a rumored refuge on the island of Catalina.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
