Now that’s what I’m talking about!! First amazing clip arrives for ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance’

I will be the first to admit that I had no interest whatsoever in seeing a second Ghost Rider film, the first film being pretty rubbish. But, how times have changed, and how one truly stunning trailer and  some cool posters and images have changed my mind, drastically. Directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have put together a sequel which is gradually making it’s way into many movie fans must-see lists, mine included.

Nic Cage is back as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, and joining him this time round will be Ciaran Hinds, Idris Elba, Christopher Lambert, Volante Placido and Johnny Whitworth. A brand new clip was premiered at the Spike TV Scream Awards and it has landed on Youtube, so we have it right here for you! The sequel will arrive in UK cinemas 22nd February.

Synopsis:

In the successor to the worldwide hit ‘Ghost Rider,’ Johnny – still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.

  1. I liked Ghost Rider. It’s not the greatest comic movie but I enjoy it. I welcomed news of a sequel. Even more so when I found out that Neveldine/Taylor were at the helm. And with Cage returning, this could be something special. I’m not expecting something as crazy as Gamer or the Crank films, but I’ve enjoyed their output so far.

Though going off that clip, the photography looks rather cheap.
