Philippines director Yam Laranas made a name for himself back in 2004 after directing the J-Horror influenced Sigaw, and following that up with an English language remake called The Echo, Laranas has become a real cult director. He has a unique style and vision which you can clearly see in the new full length trailer for his latest horror, The Road.
His latest offering has been written by both himself and Aloy Adlawan. The film stars Carmina Villaroel, Rhian Ramos, TJ Trinidad, Wendell Ramos, Barbie Forteza and Lexi Fernandez. I am sure you’ll agree that this high production and gloriously filmed horror looks to be of real authenticity, very high quality and also very patient in its aim to really chill your soul.
Thankfully the slow building and very tense trailer does not give too much away, although we do have a synopsis for you. Read on for the synopsis and expect a release date soon. In case you missed it before, I have also included the rather brilliant teaser trailer which we showed you on here a few months ago. Enjoy!
