It’s loud and has plenty of new footage, here’s the international trailer for ‘The Darkest Hour’

Due to blast its way into UK cinemas on 13th January 2012 comes director Chris Gorak’s big budget, effects driven sci-fi extravaganza The Darkest Hour 3D. The film is fast growing word of mouth and could well become the surprise hit as we start off 2012. Starring Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Joel Kinnaman and Dato Bakhtadz, the alien invasion movie is set in Moscow and will be best viewed on the biggest screen possible.

The Darkest Hour, starring Emile Hirsch, Rachael Taylor, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, and Joel Kinnamana, is a new film about five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D action-thriller highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects from the minds of visionary filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Night Watch) and director Chris Gorak.
