Silent Hill: Revelation- director promises a much more frightening film, plus update on new game in one handy video

A short promo video has appeared online based around all things Silent Hill. Director Michael J. Bassett discusses his love of the games and promises that his new film, Silent Hill: Revealtion 3D will be much more frightening than the first film. Adelaide Clemens also has a quick chat about the upcoming film. There is also plenty of gameplay footage, and finally the trailer for the brand new Silent Hill game ‘Downpour’.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is due for release sometime next year, and Bassett directs and wrote the film. Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean and Deborah Kara Unger all return, and new faces include Carrie-Anne Moss, Malcolm McDowell, Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington and Heather Marks.


For years, Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
