A second action packed trailer has arrived for ‘Battleship’, watch it here!

A second trailer has surfaced for one of next years blockbusters and we have it here in all its glory for you to enjoy! Peter Berg produces and directs Battleship, which is based on Hasbro’s classic combat game, and the new trailer shows off even more of the big budget special effects and well staged action. You can also see the a strong Transformers influence all over the film in its sound effects and in the effects of the invaders themselves. I must admit that I am getting just a little excited about this one!

Based on Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancee; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.

A fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.

According to IMDB the film is scheduled to hit UK cinemas on 20th April 2012, although the poster states May.

You can see the previous trailer at the bottom of this post as well.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
