A new slasher is on its way, and I must admit that it looks wonderful. The horror, directed by Gary Jones (Boogeyman 3) and written by Jeff Miller, both of Kinetic Film Works, takes a new spin on the legend of Paul Bunyan. After meeting for coffee, the pair chatted and Miller came up with the idea of a Bunyan, and Jones instantly liked it. Miller said “What if Paul Bunyan was a real person, only he wasn’t the nice guy everyone made him out to be?” The pair then went to work, and the film is now in post-production and a trailer has just been released, along with a couple of images.
Kids at a first-time offenders’ boot camp discover that the legend of Paul Bunyan is real but is much more horrifying than they could have imagined. They incur the wrath of the 15-foot monstrous giant, who was banished from town 100 years ago and thought dead.
