A Grizzly goes on the rampage in new survival horror ‘Red Machine’

The director of Saw 5, David Hackl, is returning to the world of horror with his second film Red Machine. The film was talked about last year, and some concrete news came about today through Variety.

Based on a script by J.H Reher, the film has already got itself a fairly decent cast including Billy Bob Thornton, James Marsden and Thomas Jane. According the IMDB  the film in in pre-production and I must say I am pretty excited about this. I do love a good survival horror, and a survival horror which features a murderous Grizzly bear is even better!

According to Variety, “The fully financed pic centers around two estranged brothers (Marsden, Jane) who reconcile on a camping trip with their girlfriends. Once in the remote wilderness, however, things go horribly awry when they are attacked and relentlessly stalked by a horrifying grizzly bear — the Red Machine. Thornton will play a legendary bear expert and hunter.

More as it develops!

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
