‘American Horror Story’ creator Ryan Murphy confirms a returning cast member and announces new location for Season Two!

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy recently appeared on US TV show ‘Watch What Happens Live’ on Monday night. Aired on Bravo, Murphy opened up with a few bits of exciting news during the shows “Plead the Fifth” round.

Murphy confirmed that Golden Globe winner Jessica Lange will be returning for Season Two, and will reprise her role as Constance, although he did not say just how much she will be involved in the new story. He did drop another bombshell by stating:

I’m in negotiations with four of the people who were on last year’s show, and none of them were the Harmons

Sadly, this means that Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott and Taissa Farmiga will not be returning.

Murphy also gave a small insight into Season Two by telling the show that the next season will take place on the East Coast in a Horror Institution!

No more is known, but the fact we will be getting an almost entirely new cast, and the brand new location leads me to believe Murphy is getting ready to out-do his first season and give us something very special indeed for Season Two!

More as it develops.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
