Dolph Lundgren aint afraid of the undead, he will kill them all over again in horror/sci-fi ‘Battle of the Damned’

Ah the man-mountain that is Dolph Lundgren, he aint afraid of anyone or anything, and he certainly aint afraid of a hoard of fucking Zombies! A new horror come sci-fi hybrid is on its way called Battle of the Damned, which will basically see Lundgren lead a group of survivors in a battle against the undead, and just to spice things up a bit, some war hungry robots get thrown into the mix for good measure. Seriously, have you read a more entertaining idea for a film so far this year? Lundgren will not only be ripping off Zombies heads and eating their rotting corpses for breakfast, but he can also smack a few robots in the face and tear their wires and computer systems out of them, and use their still hot metal as a tasty desert!

Battle of the Damned was announced way back in October, and production is coming along nicely so the makers have revealed some posters which you can view below. Please please let us have some sort of trailer soon because this is gonna be all kinds of awesomeness! The film is directed and written by Christopher Hatton and you can see the new posters after this lengthy synopsis:

On the outskirts of civilization, a remote test facility lays ruin following a catastrophic security breach. All that remains is a handful of survivors, their small armory of weapons, and a fleet of the infected. The breach lead to a viral outbreak that left hundreds dead or mutated. Now the infected walk the land, stalking the few that stayed alive.

Led by private military operative Max Gatling (Dolph Lundgren, “The Expendables,” “Universal Soldier”), our heroes have learned to fight against the infected, in hopes that rescue will soon come from the outside world. What they weren’t expecting, though, was the emergence of another deadly threat.

The breach also gave way to the escape of a band of malfunctioning prototype robots. Armed and incredibly dangerous, the robots could either be an indomitable force… or an unexpected ally in their battle against the infected masses.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
