John Lussenhop’s ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’ is pushed way back to January 2013. All together now, “boooo!!!”

October 2012 was looking like being one Hell of a month for horror, we were going to get Paranormal Activity 4, Halloween 3D and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D! I am sure there was another one or two titles that were scheduled for release around October, and especially Halloween, but I forget now. Anyway, the bad news we heard the other week was that Halloween 3D has now been pushed back to sometime in 2013, and now John Lussenhop’s direct sequel to Tobe Hooper’s classic original, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D,has also been pushed back!

There is a new official release date for Lussenhop’s highly anticipated sequel and that is January 4th 2013. Its much longer to wait, very annoying, but with the Halloween season being the ideal time to release the film, there must be a very good reason for it to be pushed back. I can only hope the reason is to get the film absolutely perfect!

Also, with The Devil Inside doing so well at the US box office, it turns out that January is also a very good month for horror. So January 2013 it is then, almost a year away, the bastards!

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
