A superb trailer and poster arrive for David Guy Levy’s horror, ‘Would You Rather’

‘Would You Rather’ is a terrific new horror from director David Guy Levy (A Love Affair of Sorts), and while Bloody Disgusting got the exclusive trailer premiere last week, the fantastic trailer has now appeared on Youtube, and guess what? We have it right here for you to feast your eyes on, and it is a brilliant trailer I must admit.

The poster is rather cool as well, created by Tom ‘The Dude Designs’ Hodge, the fella who created such masterpiece’s as the posters for Hobo With a Shotgun and The Innkeepers. Behold both the trailer and poster below!

Would You Rather boasts an impressive cast, which includes Brittany Snow, Jeffrey Combs, Jonny Coyne and Sasha Grey. Keep up to date at the Would You Rather Facebook page.

Iris has been taking care of her brother, Raleigh, ever since her parents died in an accident. Raleigh is struggling with leukemia, and as his health gets worse, the bills get more expensive. Iris is desperate and jobless.

Miraculously, her doctor introduces her to the fabulously wealthy and powerful Shepard Lambrick, who presents Iris with an opportunity to compete in a game. If she wins, the Lambrick Foundation will find a donor for her brother and pay for the rest of his treatment. Iris accepts the invitation.

When she arrives, she meets her fellow opponents – all desperate individuals with their own tragic stories, each hoping to find salvation through Shepard Lambrick¹s game of Would You Rather. (His own twist on the popular children¹s game.)

However, Shepard Lambrick¹s version of Would You Rather is definitely not for children. It requires that the players act on their decisions, within seconds. Almost immediately the game becomes life threatening.

Anyone who tries to leave and not continue the game will be shot on the spot. As the rounds progress, the contestants are pushed to their extremes, and soon players begin to be eliminated forever.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
