Brand new TV spot and some new images revealed for ‘The Cabin in the Woods’

Drew Goddard’s inventive and highly original, The Cabin in the Woods, made its debut at the SXSW festival yesterday. Those lucky buggers in the US got to see it last night, and the reviews have been coming up online all day. I am quite literally green with both envy and rage! The reviews have all been saying that the film is superb, and will be a tough horror to beat. I cannot wait, but sadly I must, and 13th April feels like a long long way away.

Anyway, just to tease us some more, a brand new TV spot and a few new images have been revealed to wet our appetites. The TV spot is awesome, although the images are a bit naff. But who cares, its an excuse to talk about the film again, so please, enjoy!

Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard is on directing duties, and Buffy creator Joss Whedon co-writes with Goddard. The Cabin in the Woods arrives in UK cinemas on Friday 13th April.

Synopsis:

A group of friends at a cabin retreat scratch the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out. If you think you know this story, think again. ‘Cabin in the Woods’ is a mind-blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
