Now this is more like it! Check out the brand new trailer for ‘The Avengers’ titled ‘Marvel Avengers Assemble’

As promised, we have the brand new trailer for Joss Whedon’s epic Marvel superhero flick, The Avengers, right here for your viewing pleasure, and its a whopper! I will be the first to admit that the first trailer was good, but did not have the wow factor I was expecting from such a massive collection of superheroes. All that has now changed as this new trailer feels much more grounded, focused and all together more epic in both scale and characters. The banter between the heroes, the clear indication that each will have problems with another member of the team, the good natured comedy, the action, awesome special effects and Scarlet Johansson in a very pleasant tight fitting outfit, its all here!

I was excited about seeing this, but right now I am almost bursting with excitement, a big well done for a truly brilliant trailer. Honestly, check it out below and try and contain your excitement! Go on, try it!

Joss Whedon bravely takes up directing duties and also wrote the screenplay. Starring in the film we have Robert Downey Jnr as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury.

The Avengers arrives in UK cinemas 27th April. For all our previous stories, including the trailer, click here

Nick Fury is director of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency. The agency is a who’s who of Marvel Super Heroes, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, Nick Fury and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
