Yay UK!!! A brand new trailer arrives for ‘(Rec) 3: Genesis’ just for us!!!

Director Paco Plaza’s (Rec) 3: Genesis debuted at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival this weekend, and reviews have been flooding in. While many are applauding the film and saying it is a worthy addition to one of the strongest franchises in horror, others are complaining at Plaza’s decision to ditch the found footage, and add some comedy. Personally, I still can’t wait to see this, and everything I have seen so far suggests are truly awesome zombie flick that should sit nicely next to the brilliance of the first two films.

Anyway, a brand new trailer landed today for the UK, and we have it here for you. In true UK fashion, it aims for a serious tone, and adds plenty of brutal violence and builds to a shocking climax. The trailer may be short, but its bloody brilliant!

(Rec) 3: Genesis opens in its native Spain on 30th March, so expect a release date for the UK  to (hopefully) be released shortly. After somehow improving on the first film with (Rec) 2 is it possible Plaza can improve even further with part 3? It certainly looks that way so far from all the images and trailers that have so far been released. You can check out all our previous goodies here

(Rec) 3: Genesis is directed by Paco Plaza and stars the seriously sexy Leticia Dolera as ‘The Bride’ Clara along with Diego Martin as ‘The Husband’ Koldo.

Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate the most important day of their lives: their wedding. Everything appears to be running smoothly, and the bride and groom and their families are enjoying a wonderful day–that is, until some of the guests start showing signs of a strange illness. Before they know what’s happening, the bride and groom find themselves in the middle of a hellish ordeal as an uncontrollable torrent of violence is unleashed on the wedding. Amidst the chaos Koldo and Clara become separated and begin a desperate search for one another. What started off as an idyllic day quickly descends into a nightmare of the worst kind…

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
