Brand new ‘Marvel’s Avengers Assemble’ featurette goes behind the scenes and shows off some new footage

A brand new featurette was released yesterday which goes behind the scenes of what is the most anticipated film of the year, according to a recent poll. Joss Whedon’s Marvels Avengers Assemble will be unleashed in UK cinemas next Thursday, and while we have seen tons of clips, a few trailers and plenty of images, this behind the scenes featurette is actually pretty cool.

Many of the cast and crew are interviewed in the two minute video, and the footage from the film looks awesome. There is a real energy to the vibe of this video, and if the film turns out to be half as good as they make it out to be here, then we truly are in for a treat. Less than a week to go then, so prepare yourself for an onslaught of super hero madness!

Joss Whedon bravely takes up directing duties and also wrote the screenplay. Starring in the film we have Robert Downey Jnr as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury.

The Avengers arrives in UK cinemas 26th April. For all our previous stories, including the previous trailers, click here

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
