Fan made ‘Carrie remake’ poster gets the thumbs up from director Kimberly Peirce

A fan made poster for Kimberly Peirce’s Carrie remake recently got a big thumbs up, from the director herself! With Chloe Moretz now confirmed to be playing the role of Carrie White, it didn’t take long for this quite brilliant poster to appear, and Peirce has even posted the artwork on her Facebook page.

What do you think? I quite like it, and the blood and tear are a nice touch. Apparently there are rumours that Peirce made the poster herself, but I doubt this to be true. However, you can view the poster for yourself below.

The story centers on “Carrie White, who is raised by a nightmarish religious fanatic mother, and comes to grip with devastating telepathic powers just as she reaches puberty. She eventually uses those gifts for lethal means when fellow classmates use the prom as an excuse to humiliate her before the entire school in a parable about bullying.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
