Green band trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Ted’ brings the funny business

Just a few days ago we brought you the red band trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s (Family Guy) first live action movie, Ted. Now, while I did find that trailer rather amusing, it did seem to focus an awful lot of foul language and seemed to be looking to shock viewers into laughing. Yes it was funny, but I was hoping that MacFarlane, genius that he is, had more up his sleeve that one swear word after another.

Today my prayers have been answered as a new, cleaner green band trailer has just landed which proves it aint all about foul language, fart and sex jokes. Ted actually looks very very funny. This new trailer shows off some hilarious scenes, the highlight being the final fight scene which is guaranteed to have you laughing out loud! Mark Whalberg appears to be having a ball, and is perfect for the role he plays here.

Seth MacFarlane directs, and co-writes with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. Mark Wahlberg plays the poor man who can’t let go of his talking teddy, and Seth MacFarlane voices the foul mouthed little git. Mila Kunis plays the love interest while other names includes Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Warburton, Joel McHale and Laura Vandervoort.

Ted arrives in UK cinemas 3rd August.

Synopsis:

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted.  In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
